There is much to see and do in Rosarito and nearby vicinity. Practice your swing at nearby Real Del Mar Golf Course (par 72) with very fast greens or enjoy visiting the many arts and crafts shops in town where many a bargain can be found. If this is not enough, walk to the beach and experience a galloping horse ride by the beach, rent an ATV and experience the thrill of the beach sea breeze enveloping your torso.

Enjoy a horseback ride on the beach, rent a kayak, ATV, or Jet Ski and set out for new adventures. And for you surfers, there are excellent surf spots all along the coastline (i.e. K38 a surfing mecca). For the more adventuresome drive 1/2 a mile South from La Paloma to Popotla and rent a half day Panga for about $40.

A 2-mile stretch of white sandy-beach is found easy steps from La Paloma's grounds.

You can explore the waters of Baja California by taking a snorkeling or diving expedition, or enjoy an exciting day of fishing. Fishing becomes very lively during high-surf.

Shopping
For all those shopping fanatics Rosarito Beach features many fine shops, street vendors, and flea markets. And, yes! Do not forget to bargain.

You can find excellent Mexican wine from the Guadalupe Valley at a local wine shop in downtown Rosarito Beach. These wines are Bordeaux varietals with excellent nose, well-balanced and found at fantastic price points compared to Napa wines. For the more adventuresome drive south about 55 miles to the Guadalupe Valley for a fantastic day of wine tasting at local wineries.

Site Seeing
Fox Studios are located just a short hop south of Rosarito Beach, where they provide guided tours. This is where Pearl Harbor, Deap Blue Sea and the final phase of Titanic was filmed. So, I guess you can say that the Titanic sunk in Rosarito Beach as opposed to somewhere in the North Sea!
